EMDAD is a nonprofit organization based in Sacramento, California, founded by a dedicated group of former Afghan lawyers, college lecturers, and U.S. university graduates who share a passion for justice, education, and community empowerment. With a deep cultural understanding and a wealth of professional experience, we are uniquely positioned to serve the Afghan diaspora and other vulnerable communities with compassion, dignity, and purpose.
